At Belmore Dental, we are delighted to be able to offer a free consultation with one of our treatment coordinator team, Laura & Shauna. Our treatment coordinators are both fully qualified dental nurses, with a wealth of experience in all areas of dentistry, and pride themselves on providing the highest level of customer care from the beginning of your treatment journey, right through to the end.
The role of a treatment coordinator in our practice is to first of all, act as an initial guide for patients who are considering treatment, but maybe have no idea where to begin. As a practice who are experienced in dealing with nervous patients who may not have attended a dentist in years, we understand that sometimes the thought of jumping straight in and visiting the dentist can be too much. We believe an initial consultation with one of our treatment coordinators can be a wonderful way to ease these patients in and provide a ‘stepping stone’ for them in feeling comfortable enough to attend an examination with the dentist. This informal appointment will allow you to visit the building, meet some of our team and feel comfortable in your surroundings.
Your treatment coordinator will be there for you at every stage of your smile journey, they are always on hand to answer any questions you may have, talk you through details of your appointments, arrange a payment schedule for you, help you understand or finance options, and anything else you may need!
We understand that many people don’t enjoy discussing money, it can sometimes make us feel awkward or even embarrassed. But for most of us, cost is a big factor when it comes to decision making.
During your free consultation, your treatment coordinator will be able to give you an idea of possible costs and finance options. If you decide to attend for a full consultation with one of our dentists, we will arrange for you to also visit the treatment coordinator again directly after this so she can once again talk you through the fees and give you an idea of what a finance plan may look like for you. If you decide you would like to apply for finance, she will also be able to help you start the application process.
It’s safe to say Laura is no stranger to the world of dentistry, since 2009 Laura has worked within the industry in many different roles, including, dental receptionist, dental nurse and has now worked her way up to the role of treatment coordinator.
Laura has a keen interest in providing excellent customer service and working closely with our patients, developing a great rapport, and making sure every part of the treatment journey runs seamlessly. Since joining the practice Laura has become a valued member of the Belmore Dental team, guiding our patients throughout their treatment journey, and making sure they leave with all the information they need to make the best choices for them.
Shauna began her career at Belmore Dental in 2019 as a trainee dental nurse, successfully completing her exams to become fully qualified in 2021. Shauna now oversees the role of treatment coordinator alongside Laura.
Shauna’s knowledge of dentistry means she is perfectly placed to help patients understand their treatment plans, answer any questions they may have, and alleviate their concerns. Her friendly and approachable demeanour helps even our most nervous patients feel at ease.
